This ‘Game Of Thrones’ Theory Gives A Huge Clue About Lady Stoneheart

Arguably, the most exciting part of last Sunday’s “Game of Thrones” episode was the look ahead to episode nine, “Battle of the Bastards,” in which Ramsay Bolton and Jon Snow appear ready to face off in one of the most anticipated moments of season six.

However, while episode eight may have fallen short of some “GoT” fans’ expectations, one of the most important talking points this week is the absence of a rumored character fans have been yearning to see.

I’m talking, of course, about Catelyn Stark’s reemergence as Lady Stoneheart.

And, if you believe this oneexplanation, the fact Lady Stoneheart didn’t appear in episode eight could mean she’s not going to be on “Game of Thrones” at all.

According to reports, Lady Stoneheart is a character in the book version of “GoT,” and she ends up leading the Brotherhood WithoutBanners after being brought back to life by Beric Dondarrion, who we did see in episode eight.

In the books, Dondarrion apparently dies after passing his Lord of Light powers to Catelyn Stark, aka Lady Stoneheart, so it’s more than likely Beric Dondarrion’s presence in season six of “Game of Thrones” means there will be no Lady Stoneheart on the HBO series.

Sorry, kids.

There’s also the fact, according to Edmure Tully’s conversation with JaimeLannister, it’s been years since the Red Wedding took place, which also makes it unlikely for Stoneheart to make an appearance at this point.

You’ll recall Sophie Turner’s (Sansa Stark) statements from the Two Truths and a Lie game several “Game of Thrones” actors played months ago. Turner reportedly said,

-Ramsay dies.
-Lady Stoneheart returns.
-Arya checks three people off her list.

Now, there’s always the possibility Turner wasn’t being 100 percent honest with her proclamations, but if she was, evidence suggests Ramsay’s death and Arya’s retribution are far more likely to happen than a Lady Stoneheart sighting.

The “Battle of the Bastards” is eminent, but MamaStark’s appearance isn’t.
