‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 7 Promises A Villain Even Worse Than Ramsay Bolton

Once upon a time, back in the old days, a new season of meant introducing an entire phalanx of characters, sometimes as many as would fill out an entire network show cast.

This late in the game, we only meet a few new faces every year, but each still makes an impression. In Season 6, the biggest impression was fromPilou Asbk, who portrays Theon’s Uncle, Euron Greyjoy.

This season of , Euron will be back!

He’sstill looking for his wayward niece and nephew, who are now with Dany on her way to Dragonstone. That, by default, puts him in an anti-Daenerys position. And if one goes by the the enemy of my enemy is my ally laws of Westeros, that means chances are, he may be making an alliance with the Lannisters.

But that’s the sort of thing we would expect from a rational character. As we got a glimpse last year, Euron is not the most rational man. (Let’s just be thankful Twitter doesn’t exist in Westeros so we don’t have to hear about his poll numbers every morning.)

When asked by about his character’s plans for the season,Asbk wasn’t giving away any spoilers but he did have a few promises to make. Yuge ones.

The psychos I’ve encountered have so many different sides to them. So each scene I’ve done with Euron, I pick a new thing I wanna show: This scene I want to be charming.’ This scene I wanna be a molester.’ This scene I wanna kill someone.’

How delightful! I feel like that’s exactly the sort of multitudes one should contain to have Cersei ask them round to tea, no?

After this season, Ramsay’s gonna look like a little kid.

Ramsay, look like a little kid? Unfathomable.

But then again, Back before Season 4, most people thought no one could top Joffrey in terms of evil. Then they got a load of Sansa’s next husband.

Euron should be careful though, especially if Littlefinger comes around saying he’s got a great idea for who Euron could marry for an alliance. Sansa seems to have a way with dealing with psychos, no?

Season 7 is only 28 short days away, arriving July 16, 2017, at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
